install gateway R2 2008

Hi,

 

I'm trying to install the latest Power BI gateway on Windows Sever 2008 R2. It throws an error:

 

Problem Event Name:P CLR20r3

 

Any help would be appreciated!

From my research, the error may be an application crash error. You could refer to below link: https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/oanapl/2009/01/30/windows-error-reporting-and-clr-integration/

 

And you could check the framework of the system: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/service-gateway-onprem#requirements

 

 

If issue persists, please share gateway log with us: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/service-gateway-onprem-tshoot#tools-for-troubleshooting.
