how to use tabular editor adding relationship to dataset
Can the tab editor add new tables and relationships when making changes to the cloud dataset? Added a table, but the newly added table is not displayed in the relationship, which is embarrassing
Hi, Anonymous
According to your description, you want to use the Tabular Editor tool to add a new table to the cloud data source. Right?
Looking at the relevant information, the Tabular Editor can add new tables to the cloud dataset, which requires the corresponding preconditions, and the corresponding refresh operation is also required after the configuration is completed.
For specific steps, you can refer to the following document: https://data-goblins.com/power-bi/modify-static-tables-in-tabular-editor
Second, if you want to add a new table to the dataset, you can use Power BI Desktop to connect to the cloud dataset, then convert the Live Connection mode to Direct Query mode, and you can add new tables.
For connection mode conversion you can refer to the following document: DirectQuery for dataset
