how to refresh report after publishing, database is connected through vpn on my local laptop

i used power bi to generate report which connects to the db, which needs openvpn on my local laptop. now i published the report and try to refresh it, but it's not working due to it needs openvpn to ...

That semantic model resides in the Azure cloud. far away from any VPNs

    If the semantic model has a scheduled refresh set up then every time you publish from the Power BI Desktop to the workspace that will initiate an ad-hoc refresh.

      so now we have a postgresql db in ec2 linux machine, and we want to auto refresh the powerBI report after publising. is there any way to get this work?

        If the semantic model has a scheduled refresh set up then every time you MANUALLY publish from the Power BI Desktop to the workspace that will initiate an AUTOMATIC-ish ad-hoc refresh.
