how to get the list of workspace and access details with list of users and roles

Hello experts,

Is there a way to list down all the workspaces and list of users who has the access to the respective workspace and their roles (admin, member, contributor and viewer).

Hi @Kalaiselvan 

To list all workspaces, users, and their roles:

• Power BI Admin Portal:
  • Go to Admin Portal > Workspaces.
  • Click Access on each workspace to see users and roles.
• Power BI REST API:
  • Use GetGroupsAsAdmin to list workspaces.
  • Use GetGroupUsersAsAdmin to get users and roles.
• Microsoft 365 Admin Center:
  • Check Groups for workspace-linked groups and their members/roles.
  • Automate with PowerShell or Power Automate for detailed reports.

Thanks for your swift response. I see, need admin access to get the above. Is there any workaround to get the list as a Power BI Pro user?

Hi @Kalaiselvan ， hello Poojara_D12, thank you for your prompt reply!

The short answer is NO, users without admin privileges can only access the workspaces they have been granted permissions to, not all workspaces.
