how to do a role level security to the tab description on one database with various reports

Hello Expert

I have something to ask if how we can restrict a tab to a database with various reports. Currently we have one database and 4 reports and they could see the 5 visuals and the description. And we don't want them to see the description coz not all reports have the same number of tabs? Would it be possible to hide the description?

HI @Anonymous,

Currently, you can't do custom with the default tooltip feature. You can consider enabling 'report tooltip' with a measure formula. (add if statement to measure formula to filter records based on username or other RLS filter fields)
If you link these tables with both direction relationships and turn on the security filter option, you can use RLS filter across tables based on relationship key fields. (visual or report with not match records will be filtered and only display a blank visual)
