I would like to connect to SQL DB in Power Apps, but I am not allowed to install SQL Gateway on my laptop. There is a setup of SQL gateway for JWPKSQLEP02.corp.checkfree.com in my Power BI web service as shown below. How to connect to SQL in Power Apps with the SQL gateway in my Power BI web service?
You don't. Power Apps use entirely different connections. Ask the gateway admin to make you a "connection creator" on the gateway. Then in your Power App create a new connection.

In Power BI itself there is a "Power App" visual. But, if you want to use Power Apps directly, you can open Power Apps , select Data and then on the "add data" select Power BI and the Data Source should be in the list available.
