Hello everyone,
I'm reaching out to seek advice on a specific issue I'm encountering with Power BI, but not within the Desktop version. I've been using Power BI Service (the web version, sometimes referred to as the "Fabric" version) for my data visualization tasks. My datasets were initially imported from Excel, and after creating some reports online, I now need to update and modify some of this data directly.
Is there a way to return to an "Excel-like view" in Power BI Service to easily add or edit data? I understand that Power BI is primarily for visualization and analysis, but I was hoping there might be a feature or a workaround that doesn't require me to go back to the original Excel file, make changes, and then re-import or refresh the dataset in Power BI Service.
I'm looking for a more streamlined way to handle data modifications directly in the web version of Power BI. If anyone has experience with this or knows any best practices for data editing in Power BI Service, I would greatly appreciate your insights.
Thank you in advance for your help and suggestions!

Unfortunately, at this time it is not possible to make those changes in the power of BI service. I would. highly recommend always starting off with using the power of BI desktop version to import your data and create your reports that will allow you to then always open the power of BI desktop version again to make edits and publish them to the power BI service.
