goals metrics refresh error

I am trying to connect a scorecard with muliple goals  to  report  visuals which are filtered using relative date filter "is in this month" in order to get month to date value so when connecting this is interpreted as in June 2022 but the goal is ongoing so it means every month I have to reconnect. Should I create a MTD measure for each and every  value in the visual or is there an easier way ?

    Hi PB_PRO ,

The new calculated value of MTD for this month is refreshed and synchronized to the goal.Otherwise it will not be synchronized.

So you need to  refresh the data regularly.

Why aren't my goals getting updated over time in my scorecard?

There are a few reasons why your goal may not be getting updated:

    • It’s a manual goal: Manual goals aren't updated automatically as they're not connected to a data source with regular refreshes. To create a history for a manual goal, do regular check-ins.
    • You don't have scheduled refresh for the dataset: Goal values are only updated as often as the dataset is refreshed. If you don’t have a scheduled refresh on your dataset, you won't see any updates in the goal value. Learn about scheduled refresh.
    • Goals don’t get updated if they're created from a push dataset.
