gateway service

Hello all,

Have a problem with report in the Power BI Service. The report in the cloud can't show me any data.

I have next:

  • 1 SSAS OLAP-cube
  • 1 Power BI Pro
  • On-premise gateway enterprise
  • 1 report in the cloud

The error text is next:

Couldn't load the model schema associated with this report. Make sure you have a connection to the server, and try again.
Please try again later or contact support. If you contact support, please provide these details.

Additionaly, the gateway application can't find Windows service.

Thext is next (sry for Russian):

Убедитесь, что служба "Служба On-premises data gateway" запущена, на панели управления "Службы".

I tried to change users and UPN mapping. Additionaly i tried to reinstall gateway. The result is the same

    Hi Bluden,

    Please check below things:

    • Go to dataset settings, check if the data gateway is online.
    • Update your data gateway to latest version.
    • Can you manually refresh data successfully in Power BI desktop?
    • Make sure the datasources in your Enterprise gateway points to the right server and cube. And make sure the data source connection you entered in gateway is exactly the same as that you configured in desktop. Make sure credentials entered for your on-premises data sources are correct.
    • If the data source was removed, renamed, moved, offline, or permissions have changed, the data source wasn't reachable by gateway. Check that the source is still in the location you are pointing to and you still have permission to access it.
    • Also, the source may be slow, after mapping it takes at least 5 minutes to have an effect. Please wait for a while to see whether issue is resolved. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eATPS-c7YRU&t=41s
