format change when exporting from BI service

Hi,

 

I have a report published in Service, when a table visual is exported, one of the date columns (Latest Date) changes format as below

I cannot replicate this issue in Desktop from the same report


The model shows the Latest Date field as date.

Does anyone have any suggestion what could be causing this please?

    Hi, TAP936 

     

    I tried to restore your problem without success, the exported date format is the same as the date format in Desktop. Maybe you can try updating Desktop to the latest version to try. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=58494

    Hi v-zhangti  thanks for the response.
    I have the most up to date version of desktop im afraid, and i dont have the same issue when exporting in desktop. This only seems to be happening when exporting in BI Service. Its not just me this is happening to either, all users are experiencing it and some of those will be on an older version.
