external does not receive email invitation

Hi,

 

We shared our dashboard to external users. Some of them who has corporate email address built in google apps did not received the email invitation. Does this kind of email address is also prevented for sharing by Power BI?

    Is it a gmail.com address or a custom domain ?

    If it is a custom domain , it should be supported.

      Hi Ajay,

       

      it's custom domain (for example [email protected]), based on google.

      when we set the sharing, there's no error. unlike if we tried to share to gmail.com

      is the custom domain created in google supported or not?

        Hi RMV,

         

        Are you able to sign up Power BI use this email address: [email protected] ? See: Self-service sign up for Power BI.

         

        When we share the dashboard with users, the shared user to view the dashboard need to sign in Power BI or Sign up if he doesn't have. In your scenario, I guess the issue should be that the email address can't sign up Power BI, so it will not send email about sharing.
