extended pro trial
Hello, I have been using 60 day free trial of Power BI Pro license for testing few dashboards that were developed using visual controls (which require pro license to access), wondering if there is any way to extend the license for 1 year (extended pro trial period). Any help/info regarding this request would be much appreciated. Regards, Chandra

Hi cpanambur,
There are two ways to activate the Extended Pro Trial.
1. When you sign in to the Power BI service, and are eligible, you will get a pop-up notice. Selecting Activate Trial will begin the Extended Pro Trial. No further action will be needed.
2. If you dismissed the pop-up by selecting Not Now, the Extended Pro Trial can be activated any time until the end of the trial period on May 31, 2018. Within the notification center, you will see a notification regarding the Extended Pro Trial, plese click Activate Trial as the above said.
More details, please review this article: Extended Pro Trial activation.

HI Angelia,
Thanks for the information.
I do not see any notification regarding Extended Pro Trial in my notification center. Does that mean my account is not eligible for extended trial offer? If so, is there any other options to extend the pro-trial OR I must purchase pro license?
Hope you could answer these followup queries as well. Thanks!
Best regards, Chandra

Hi cpanambur,
Please provide your PUID, we will check if you're eligigal for exteded trial offer. You can find your PUID by the following two ways. The PUID of the user can be found using that link (so each user need to use that link):
https://portal.office.com/account/#subscriptions
It's also possible to get the PUID from a PowerShell script:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powershell/module/msonline/get-msoluser?view=azureadps-1.0
