Hi Mates,
I have a cluster of data connections created by on-premise and accessible in Power Bi Service. As you can see in the attached photo, the only connection which is problematic is the 'MS Exchange' one which is setup in Desktop to refresh a dataset. However, this connection cannot be added to the Gateway making it impossible for the other connections in the same cluster.
Does anyone have any idea how to get rid of this or fix it? 🙂
Thanks

Hi @Alirezam ,
If your dataset not only contains cloud data source but also the on premise data source, then you may tick the "Note that you also need to select Allow user's cloud data sources to refresh through this gateway cluster" option Under Gateway Cluster Settings. See: Merge or append on-premises and cloud data sources.

Hi Alirezam, I know that you had this question long time ago, but for others it could help. I had the same issue. Solved with Dataflows. Try the Exchange dataset connect by dataflow and then this dataflow connect to the dataset.

Hi bro,
The data can not be merged or appended as they are totally different datasets. I tried to tick the boxes you said and the problem is still there. Thanks though

Hi, Not really. Tried to read through both articles which are not addressing my question.
