UPDATE of symmentic model in EXCEL
18m ago
Good morning

I encountered a problem this morning on the data display I have the last update on the cube which took place on 04/15/2024 at 06:49
but on the power BI in TCD when I get the cube it is still at 04/14/2024 there is a lag I don't know it's due to what can someone help me with?

I notice a lag in Excel when retrieving data from the PBI cloud service (the workspace) and I wonder if you had the same problem and how

ensure that the businesses recover the data correctly

Hi, @asma_ghilene

If you're using Excel as your data source, make sure that the connection type supports real-time or near-real-time data updates. For Excel files stored on OneDrive or SharePoint, the changes should be automatically reflected in Power BI in about an hour, as detailed below:

Refresh a semantic model created from a .csv file on OneDrive - Power BI | Microsoft Learn

If auto-refresh isn't working as expected, try manually refreshing the data in Power BI. Navigate to the dataset in the Power BI service and use the Refresh now option.
It's also possible that your data volume is too large and it will take some time to process and display the updated data.
