enabling edit view option in powerbi services.

Hi,

One of my team mate shared a dashbord with read view . Now, I would like to do some changes in the report but the edit report option is greyed out. How can i enable the edit report opotion?

@Anonymous You would need him to add you to the workspace from which he shared it. (provided it isn't his "My Workspace" - there is no copy you can edit, you edit the original or nothing. (Some might say content packs are an option, but they are being deprecated and would waste your time).

Or, he can send you the PBIX file.
