Advocate IIIdownloading data from Embedded reports not working
Super UserHi! please be sure you have checked the limitation and you are coding the export method like the following doc:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/javascript/api/overview/powerbi/export-data
If everythin is ok with the doc you should send a ticket to microsoft or create an issue in the community because it sounds bad.

Thank you for the quick answer! I should have explained in more detailed, but what I'm actually using is the "Embed Report" -> "Website or portal" -> "Embed" link available OTB in a report to include it in an app's navigation panel.
And exporting data from a report published this way does't work...

Oh. Then it might be a bug. You can try submiting an issue here: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Issues/idb-p/Issues
Or you can try connecting with Microsoft ticket support.

Thanks for the suggestion. I have just posted it in the 'Issues site'. I'll update this thread if I get a solution for this.
