deleting AD group will delete workspace?
As it says here:
Understanding Power BI Workspaces: A Comprehensive Guide (spreadsheeto.com)
Before Power BI rolled out the new workspace, creating a workspace would automatically create an underlying, associated Office 365 group.
Can I go ahead and delete the AD groups? My concern with deleting them is if it will also delete the Power BI workspace....

The old workspace is automatically upgraded to the new workspace, and for the new workspace, deleting AD groups should not affect the Power BI workspace.

Anonymous I assume that you have converted all of your workspaces. If so then you should not have any issue.

The old workspace is automatically upgraded to the new workspace, and for the new workspace, deleting AD groups should not affect the Power BI workspace.
