Error Description:
I am creating a report whose data comes from an Excel spreadsheet with dates for the year 2030.
When I call up the data set in the PowerBi desktop version and the Excel file on the Sharepoint update, the year 2030 is also displayed, as expected.
If I publish the desktop version to the PowerBi Service, the correct year 2030 is also displayed.
As soon as I refresh the data via the PowerBi service, the year 2030 is changed to 1930. This happens both in the report and in the PowerBi Service stored data model.
Do you have just a single fact table? I'd add a date dimension table:
https://radacad.com/all-in-one-script-to-create-date-dimension-in-power-bi-using-power-query
The data type is Date
Is the date column using a Date or Datetime type in Power BI? Can you share some screenshots?
The date column is using the date format (dd.mm.yyyy).
I asked you about the data type though, not formatting:
