Dear all,
set up of a second gateway in the same clusters is done - gateway is online and enabled in the cluster.
both same version: 3000.298.8 - so gateways are online, but...
Dataset (Connectors) only partially online, old one is fine, new one is corrupt; two different laptops, powerbi desktop and connection is fine for SQL and Excel-workbooks, only new connector is not workking - any idea? Same login on windows either...
What have I missed?

Hi @reinhard_84f,

@GilbertQ& @djurecic, Thanks for your prompt response
To identify whether a specific gateway node is causing the issue, you can temporarily isolate the gateway cluster. Disable or remove one gateway machine from the cluster, and keep only one gateway node active. Once this is done, trigger a dataset refresh. If the refresh succeeds, it indicates that the disabled gateway node is faulty or misconfigured. If the refresh still fails, then the problem is not related to gateway clustering and is more likely due to datasource configuration, credentials, or connectivity issues.
Thanks

Hi @RajK2,
thanks for explaining the scenario. To better understand the issue and provide an accurate solution, could you please share a small set of sample data (with any sensitive information removed) along with the expected output? This will help ensure the guidance is aligned with your exact requirement.
Thanks,
Prashanth

how can i test the gateway ports, the test in on-premesis gateway is not working properly on both machines, could not see any test result available in the log-file, all checks are green.
Can you ensure that both gateways are connected to the same cluster? From what you are saying, it appears that only one of the servers in the cluster is online.
Both Gatewas are in the same cluster, both are online, both using same ms account
but only one gateway can connect to the source, neither SQL nor files are possible
via power bi desktop all sources are available.
next step is IT-check of ports...
Seems like it should would, but I would go through the steps here just to double check everything:
