dataset doesn't update

hi all,   i created a report with pbi desktop, connecting live to ssas cube with enterpeise gateway. i published the dashboard to people and there was no problem to see data. i added new measure ...

hi

 

i'm connecting to ssas in live connection with gateway enterprise.

i have added new measure to cube, i see it on the desktop file but not on the service (i refreshed the data set)

why is that? the gateway doesnt mean its always updated?

    There are times that my new measures show up fairly quickly and others that I have to refresh my browser before they will appear. Try hitting F5 and see if that helps. I have also, in the past, had to refresh a couple of times before new measures pulled in. that just happened today. I had to refresh 3 times before refreshing the browser worked.
