I am trying to configure schedule refresh for the dataset from Jira data. But it's throwing error like
You can't schedule refresh for this dataset because the following data sources currently don't support refresh:
my Query is like:
let
Source = Json.Document(Web.Contents(JIRA_URL & "/rest/api/2/search?jql=" & QUERY))
....
....
in
...
where:
JIRA_URL: https://jira.demo.io/
QUERY: project in ("ProjectOne", "ProjectTwo")
I referred https://blog.crossjoin.co.uk/2016/08/23/web-contents-m-functions-and-dataset-refresh-errors-in-power... and tried to restructure the query as mentioned there. But was not successfull.
I have followed other related threads but couldn't find a proper solution.
can anyone hlep me?

Hi @hpoyil ,
When you use source parameter to get data dynamically in Power BI Desktop, it is not supported to refresh the dataset in Power BI Service, you would need to make changes to the M code as described in this similar blog:
Dynamic Web.Contents() and Power BI Refresh Errors

I'm having thsi problem as well and all the solutions I've seen refer to a blog post that is no longer available. I've tried removing the parameters and adding them directly to my query but no luck. It works great from Power BI Desktop, and I ca nrefresh manually but no auto-refresh support which is why I wanted to query the API directly in the first place. Can someone please help with this?
@ImkeF - Any ideas?
