data gateway not working on Virtual Machine

I have built a dataset on the Desktop using a virtual machine from Azure.

However when I try and refresh this data on the service it fails with this error.

Processing error:	Please make sure your data gateway (personal mode) is installed and configured properly.

I have set up the personal gateway and an on prem gateway but get the same error.

What am I doing wrong?? My gateway says "good to go" see below:
