dashboard not getting downloaded

Hi, Earlier my one dashboard was able to get download from power bi service.It is approx 180mb in size. But now when i select download option, it keeps on loading and finally doesnt get downloaded....

Hi Anonymous,

 

How long have you waited for the download? I suggest you to wait for this download until it throw some message, so that we could analysis this issue?

 

Did you have this issue only for this report?

 

If it is convenient, could you share a dummy pbix file which can reproduce the issue, so that we can help further investigate on it? You can upload it to OneDrive or Dropbox and post the link here. Do mask sensitive data before uploading.)

Hi v-piga-msft,

Not able to downlaod still.

There is no error message coming.

Earlier it allowed to have multiple downloads of different reports in parallel.(This is a sepaerate issue altogether)

But now i cant even do that.

 

Downlaod Issue (Its specific to this dashboard)

      I doubt whether i can upload that dashboard as it is specific to one dashboard....:(

      Have erased cookies as well.

      Is there any new time out set in power bi service as this dahboard is around 200mb in size so it takes time.

      Could you please confirm on that, whether there are any changes in settings.

        Hi Anonymous,

         

        The dashboard you mentioned is the report in Power BI Service?

         

        As I know, we only could download the report in Power BI Service as PBIX file.

         

        In addition, there is no option for us to set the time out in Power BI currently.

         

        You could post your new idea in Power BI ideas Forum and add your comments there to improve Power BI and make this feature coming sooner.

         

        Actually, if the report cannot be downloaded from Power BI Service, it will throw an error, if not, it will be downloaded but to wait for a long time.

         

        By my tests with a pbix file about 237MB, I could download as pbix file from Power BI Service but it really took a long time about more than an hour.

         

         

        So for your case, if you want to download such a report with big size from Power BI Service, you should wait for a long time.
