dashboard doesn't refresh

I have noticed on some of my dashboards the chart/tables do not update with the newly released data.

When i click on the chart which then takes me to the report i see that the data is all up to date.

Does anybody know why this is happening?  This was not what i expected when i build the dashboards.

    Hi Sebbyp, 

     

    Please check that your dataset is scheduled for refresh with a PBI gateway, you may need to configure this to allow data refresh

    Hi sebbyp,

     

    Did you pin live page rather than a visual to dashboard? If so, please notice that refreshing live page tiles is currently not supported by Power BI. Here is an idea: Automatic update of Pinned Live Pages.

     

    How long have you waited? There would be some delay to show the updated data on dashboard. Please wait for15-30 minutes, then check whether the dashboard refreshes. 

     

    How about forcing a tile refresh by selecting the ellipse (...) in the upper right of a dashboard and selecting Refresh dashboard tiles? Sometimes, the cache data stored in Web Browser would result in this problem, either. Please refresh the web page manually to see if data is changed.
