composite semantic models with Direct Lake and import tables
As per documentation i m unable to see onelakecatalog,Any suggestions
Hi Anonymous ,
Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Fabric Community.
Thank you GilbertQ AntoineW for the prompt response.
The OneLake Catalog tile is still rolling out regionally, so it may not yet appear in your tenant.
You can still create a composite model by opening your Lakehouse - New - Semantic model, which builds a Direct Lake model - then add Import tables via Get data.
Alternatively, use the latest Power BI Desktop (Oct 2025+) - OneLake data hub to connect and publish.
Once rollout completes, the OneLake Catalog option will show automatically.

Hi Anonymous
In order to see the Onelake catalog, you will have to have a Fabric enabled workspace and have one lake configured with some data in it in order to see the option.

Hi,
I have a Fabric-enabled workspace and a lakehouse with delta tables in OneLake. However, according to the documentation, the steps are:
On the workspace page: From the ‘New item’ button, choose ‘Semantic model’, then select the ‘OneLake catalog’ tile, pick a Fabric item with delta tables, and click ‘Connect’.
I’m unable to see the OneLake catalog inside the semanticmodel item

HI Anonymous
It could be that the feature has not rolled out in your region yet?
Also can you confirm that there are no tenant settings that have disabled this?- AnonymousNot applicable
