Tried to create a composite model.

Getting the error message 'An item with the same key has already been added'.

Any suggestions as to what might be going on?

What data sources are included in your composite model? According to the error message, it may be caused by a column or other object with the same name. Could you please share the applied code of the query with the error in Advanced Editor (exclude sensitive data)?

How many data sources do you have and what type are they?

It's an Azure Analysis Services model
