I have a tile on dashboard (card chart) and i already set value decimal places into 2 decimal. Let's says the value is 10.88
but when i set alert to that tile and send it to my email, the value is become 10.87777777778.
How i can set it just 10.88 when send the alert to my email. thanks for your help.
Hi. Changing the decimal point in the visualization will only affect the visualization. The email will read the column again and the column is that big number. Try changing the column format. You can make it decimal and pick up how many values to use after dot or even add custom format for it:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/create-reports/desktop-custom-format-strings
Hope this helps,

Hi Ibarrau, thanks for the answer
I tried using your solution on the link that you shared, i changed into decimal value on modelling - properties. Even i tried using custom with 2 decimal places but the value still show 10.877777778 on the email.
any other solution maybe? thanks
Regards
Ok, too bad, I thought that would work. You back (query editor) and transform data before it is loading. Try rounding the number in query editor menu (power query language) or changing type as Fixed decimal as our mate fellow says in the last message. That way the number won't know all those decimales when added to a visualization.
Hope this helps.

Hi @Bramz ,
I got the same result with yours even though I have set the display units of the value field or format it to keep 2 decimal places... Please try to set the data type of that decimal number field as "Fixed decimal number" as a workaround (it will display 4 decimal places) and republish the report to Power BI Service again.
Best Regards
Rena
