Hi ,
Yes, it's possible to use two tables from different systems in a single Power BI report. You can connect one table from Google Cloud Database via a gateway and another table from SharePoint Excel. Here's how you can set it up:
Connect to Google Cloud Database:
Use the on-premises data gateway for connecting to the Google Cloud Database via DirectQuery or Import mode.
Connect to SharePoint Excel:
Use the SharePoint connector to connect to the Excel file stored in SharePoint Online.
Data Integration:
Load both datasets into Power BI Desktop, then use relationships or merges in Power Query to combine or link the tables.
Scheduled Refresh:
Set up a scheduled refresh in Power BI Service using the gateway for Google Cloud and a direct connection to SharePoint Excel.
With this setup, Power BI can refresh data from both sources (Google Cloud via the gateway and SharePoint directly).

Hey @oakfootballclub ,
sure, this can be done. Many of the semantic models I create are sourcing data from various source systems. This is one the strengths of Power BI.
Create your semantic model in Power BI Desktop, connect to the Google Cloud database and the SharePoint based ACL, build your semantic model, publish the Power BI Desktop file to a workspace of Power BI Service. Map the Google data source of the semantic model to the data gateway connection and reauthenticate to the SharePoint based table, as authentication information (user and password) are not published to the Service.
Hopfully, this provides what you are looking for.
Regards,
Tom
