As you confirmed that you can able to access the data, so please create a report in Power BI Desktop by using the same credntials and publish, share the report to the users.

venal thanks for your response. i need specific directions please. assume the following: i have dataset model in my company tenant, and external company has dataset in a separate tenant. how do i exactly import a specific table from the external company's data model in the separate tenant?

Hi Anonymous ,
Yes, it is possible. If your data source is on the cloud, you don't need an on-premises gateway. You just need to input credentials to connect to data source.
Pro license has met the requirements. If your data is larger than 10G or you have special requirements in terms of capacity, you may need Premium license.Here is the document for your reference:
