bi wont start

stays hung up and says "initializing model", have followed other forums and tried reinstalling win10, I continue to get errors at full reinstall and reset.  Other options before I send my box out for...

The start up screen says "Initializing Model", hangs up and never starts.  

 

Upon Googling it this appears to be a known and widespread issue, message boards are loaded.

 

I uninstalled the 64 bit version (I came across this solution and the requirement is that BI matches the version of Office (which was 32 bit in my case)), installed 32 bit version, same result.

    Hi gmarta,

     

    Can you please do some additional test to help us ensure which place caused the issue?

     

    For example:

    1. Test to install current power bi package and other version on your device.
    2. Test to install current power bi package and other version on other device.

     

    Please share the detail test result for us. it will be help for troubleshooting.
