is it possible to connect powerbi service to azure database for postgresql in real time (without import)?

Same on premises: Is it possible to connect powerbi desktop to postgresql?

Yes you can do it with DirectQuery via the On-Premise Data Gateway

Also the report can auto refresh based on your Power BI Pro License. Or when you interact with the Power BI report it will update the data in the report.
