"Filters and slicer affecting this visual " showing even though it should not .
If we have a slicer and a visual and we cut off the interaction between the two and proceed to select a slicer option, the visual will not be filtered ( this is expected) however the visual will still say that it is affected by the slicer .
This statement is counter intuitive , because by stopping the interaction between the slicer and the visual the visual should not say that it is affected by the slicer .
The issue is present both in Service and in the latest version of Power BI Desktop .
However the issue is not present in Power BI Desktop for report server May 2021 .
I have attached to this post pictures for reference .
The issue is not data source specific , in my replication of the issue I simply introduce manually the data in Power BI Desktop , a simple 2 columns 3 rows table
Screenshot from Power BI Desktop
Lastly, if i download the pbix from service and then open in desktop , the issue disappears in Desktop , however when i uload this "fixed" pbix the issue is still present in PBI service.
