accidentally canceled my Power BI Pro subscription evaluation period

Hello,

I accidentally canceled my Power BI Pro subscription evaluation period and would like to reactivate it if possible.

Could you please help me restore access to my Pro trial or advise on the next steps to enable it again? Had 59 days left...

Thank you in advance for your help.

Best regards,

Patrik Hansson

Hi ,

There is no way to get it back - the trial is one time and if it expires or is cancelled it is over.  That said, you could try for a PPU trial?  Or , maybe somebody else has the ability to use a trial in your organization? or use different ID .

Hi @hazze82

If you accidentally canceled your Power BI Pro trial subscription, unfortunately, Microsoft does not allow you to directly reactivate or restart the same trial once it has been canceled or expired — even if you had remaining days left. The system treats the cancellation as a completed action, and the trial entitlement is revoked from your account. However, you can try a few alternatives. First, sign in to the Microsoft 365 admin center (if you have admin rights) and check under Billing > Your products to confirm whether the trial license still appears; if it does, you may be able to reassign it to your user account. If it’s completely removed, you can consider starting a new trial using a different organizational or personal account, or contact Microsoft Support through the Power BI Service help menu to explain the situation. In some cases, support can manually reinstate the trial or offer a short-term Pro license extension, especially if the cancellation was accidental and recent.
