Zendesk Connectivity - Beta does not work

Good day,

I need to connect to Zendesk, but Beta I am unable to connect, and I have Zendesk admin access

I need to extract the number of Tickets by severity, the "priority field" by date)

There's a manual process, of exporting another report once a month but now i require this data daily

Kindly help, advise, or make recommendations on automiating the Zendesk connectivity, please?

Regards

    Hi icassiem ,

Thank you for your question and thoughts on the solution. The requirement you have raised involves the integration of multiple systems including Zendesk, SharePoint, and Power BI.While these systems can work together to achieve your goals, some cross-platform integration configurations are required.
For your needs, the following initial steps are recommended to try:
Use Power Automate to automate workflows: Power Automate can be used to enable getting CSV files from Zendesk and uploading them to SharePoint, and then using Power BI to connect to a SharePoint document library. This may require setting up some email triggers and data refresh steps.
Visit the SharePoint and Power Automate communities: As it relates to SharePoint configuration (e.g., document libraries, email integrations) and Power Automate's automation processes, I recommend that you also ask questions in the SharePoint community and the Power Automate community for more specific support.
We hope you find these suggestions helpful. If you still have questions about Power BI data connectivity and data refresh, feel free to continue to ask questions in this community. For cross-platform integration questions, consider starting a new thread in the relevant forum so that you can get more dedicated help.

    Hi icassiem ,

If when you can't connect to zendesk properly, it was mentioned in this resolved thread that there is something about customizing the Zendesk Power BI Connector plugin that may be able to resolve your issue.

Solved: Zendesk (Beta) - Bypassing the 1K row API limits - Microsoft Fabric Community
The connector is currently in beta, and a couple of posts have noted that the bug has been found in the 64-bit desktop version, you can try it in the 32-bit desktop version, and downloads may vary between environments.

I hope the above links are helpful, if you have further questions, feel free to contact me and I will get back to you as soon as I receive the message!

    Hope it helps!

      Hi, Thank you Anonymous

Wow, there does not seem to be a resolution otrher than purchasing a 3rd party tool

I have an idea, kindly assist. In Zendesk setup a CSV schedule, then in sharepoint creat a document library worklfow with email that grabs attachments and saves to the doc library, use that email for the zendesk schedular and connext to sharepoint excel as source?

Im just thinking how i would create the email in zendesk if its a doc lib email and not an AD user

      Thoughts please?
