Your Power BI session expired

Hi Microsoft Power BI team,

 

I'm facing this Power BI session expired alert message when I launch the Power BI embedded report URL every time, re-open the browser doesn't help. I can click 'Close' continue to use the report, but it's quite annoying for users. 

 

I've been using the embedded report for at least half year, this popup only appear recently. Can anybody help on it ?

    Hi , leocheang 

    Maybe it has something to do with the user's browser. Is your browser version the latest version? Have you tried other browsers?

    If  the issue occurs only for one specific report,you also can take a try to republishing the report with a different name and reembedding.

      Hi All,

       

      I am also facing the same issue. I have embedded the report link in Web Application and when I try to access, I am getting this warning message. Can any one provide solution. I have tried to update the workspace and also I am using latest Chrome version.

    Same over here and the more i dig the more i think this issue is known but unresolved... 
    User restart everything by publishing once again the reports in the workspace and sharing it once again but this is hardly a good solution as in my cas we are talking about 30+ reports in different workspace...

    Hi, Quentin 

    If you still have no idea about your problem, you can open a support ticket with MSFT to seek technical support .

    They will look into the issue on your side and check whether it is  a known issue in progress.

      I did put an issue in the forum and the thing is that the links created but the PowerBi Service to share in Sharepoint, Teams o embed in Website/ portal have suddenly changed and i had to modify in all the places we share reports the end of the links...

      Before it was ending with:

      &config=eyJjbHVzdGVyVXJsIjoiaHR0cHM6Ly93YWJpLW5vcnRoLWV1cm9wZS1yZWRpcmVjdC5hbmFseXNpcy53aW5kb3dzLm5ldC8ifQ%3D%3D



      And now it ends with:

      &config=eyJjbHVzdGVyVXJsIjoiaHR0cHM6Ly93YWJpLW5vcnRoLWV1cm9wZS1oLXByaW1hcnktcmVkaXJlY3QuYW5hbHlzaXMud2luZG93cy5uZXQvIn0%3D



      I really hope it will never happen again!
