Hi, what permissions are required to connect to a Power BI XMLA Endpoint in Excel?

It works for me as a workspace Admin but not for other users as Visitors or Members.

What type of workspace is currently being accessed? Is the user a guest outside your organization?

So it turns out that the worspace was PPU an my end users didn't have PPU licenses. Moving the workspace to premium capacity solved the issue

You need Build permission, ideally through sharing the app. This is unrelated to workspace admins.
