XMLA Endpoint connection Bad Request(400)

Hi, I Need to connect to Dataset using XMLA but I'm receiving below error:   Its the same with SSMS: Just to add: Yes we are using Premium, it is working for others so thats...

Hi Anonymous 

Please make sure you satisfy all the requirements to connect through XMLA. If this is working for others and not you then, check below points.

 

1. Ensure connection string is correct

2. Ensure credentials are correct

3. Analyze in Excel in Admin portal is enabled and if there are any security groups then please be a part of that security group.

Hi,

It turned out to be that I'm one of the groups in the entire organization which has this kind of access blocked,

It's a blow for me due to other projects, but at least I now know what is going on...
