Workspaces: remove non-Power BI workspaces from Power BI service

Me and many other users find this one extremely annoying: because all types of workspaces are shown in the Power BI service (created in Teams, etc.), there are too many show in my list. How can I make sure that only Power BI workspaces are shown?

Hi, @Raid

When you create one of the classic workspaces in Power BI, you're automatically creating an Office 365 group in the background. When you delete a workspace you delete that Office365 group. What it means is that the group will also be deleted from other O365 products like SharePoint and Microsoft Teams. They are co-dependent. I'd like to suggest you post a new idea in Idea Forum to improve Power BI.

For further information, please refer the document .

Best Regards

Allan

Hi Amit,

That's not the solution I'm looking at (considered it before). Removing a group or leaving it is no solution. I still want to be active in groups. I simply don't want it to show in Power BI if it has nothing to do with Power BI.

I don't know whether MS has ever considered it, but the use of Groups or MS Teams together with Power BI is really leading to confusion.

I will put it in the idea place.
