Workspace retention period impact in Fabric and Power BI - Where are deleted workspaces stocked?

Where are deleted workspaces stocked during retention period?

By default it is 7 days before removing permaently. If an admin of portal, modify it to a loger period (ex: 60 days), what is the impact? Does it take the storage of the Premium capacity for 60 days? if yes, it is the same size of when it was active or it is reduced size? Thanks,

But, there is no configuration option to modify the retention period in Admin Portal. I`m Power BI admin.

Hi @Niki_33 ,

Yo ucan change the retention policy in the Admin Portal to the time period that you prefer.  However it DOES count against your space until it is permanently deleted (at the end of the period).  As far as I know, it doesn't get further compression and will continue to count against your space at "full" size.
