Workspace loading is extremely slow

I am not sure what caused this since there have been a lot of changes in the last months (Source Control, Folders, Task Flow) but loading the workspace is taking like 1-2min.

I thought it was because of Source control, but my workspaces without it load equally slow and before they were loading instantly. Any ideas?

Hi. Well if you have a dedicated capacity, each time something is really odd with performance, you can check the Fabric Capacity Metrics App in order to review if there is an issue about an overload or something like that. If you are just using shared capacity, you can check the status of the Fabric servers at the support website. If all that is ok you might be experiencing a returning of an overload or just a problem with current bandwith.

I hope that helps,

For me, it is this one. Still can't find the root cause. Not always but most of the time now since last month.

I would like to report very low performance on Power BI Service. We have workspaces with around 300 reports and just listing them takes up to 45 seconds in some cases.

I have tried to obtain some quantitative information by using the Chrome and Edge Lighthouse performance report, and the scores obtained are always lower than 15/100. Between 8 and 13/100.

We have multiple workspaces, some have embedded (A1) some have Power BI Premium per User (PPU) but all of them are slow.  Also deployment pipeline takes long to load, with low Lighthouse score too.

I invite other users to also try the Lighthouse report on Chrome/Edge to get some comparable data. Thank you.

Did further testing and Lighthouse actually doesn't provide a good metric for Power BI Service. The result is also bad on well performing workspace views.

I checked and its not that. It looks like its the GIT Source Control integration. It slows down workspaces with many reports
