Workspace change from PPU to Pro

Dear community,

Background:

I have a Workspace that was configured with PPU license and PPU users. 

My organisation now have a mixture of Pro and PPU users and as a result I had to downgrade the Workspace from PPU to Pro to accommodate the Pro users.

Problem:

After the Workspace change, when opening reports in that Workspace we receive the following prompt:

"Power BI Premium is required

The dataset for this report is backed by premium files storage and can only be loaded on a Premium capacity. Go to Workspace settings and move the workspace to a Premium capacity to re-enable the report."

Question:

Will republishing the report & dataset to the Pro Workspace resolve the problem?

No, it will not. You would have to remove and re-upload the semantic model. Doing that will change the report ID and URL.
