Workspace and Azure Dev Ops integration
Oh boy.
So I have been developing and saving as a PBIX. Now please stop me if I am wrong.
I save the PBIX as a PBIP format
SO now I have my folder x that contains
.Report folder
.Semantic model folder
.gitignore file
I have pushed to the Azure DevOps Repo. Created a new brach
I have gone to my PPU workspace and go to workspace settings and fill out the Git repo and branch details. When I click on Connect and Sync I get
"Unable to connect to Git Branch"
"The workspace is in a different region. Go to workspace admin settings to enable cross-region connections"
Where is workspace admin settings? I cant see this and with googling it looks to be a red herring

You seem to need to contact your tenant administrator Enable cross region connection, which is located in the admin portal.

With my MS account it looks like it ois set to English US by the organisation. When I look at the Power BI workspace it is PP3 Region North Europe.
Is this really the issue as I dont think I can alter either of these two settings- AnonymousNot applicable

Yep, that was what I thought.
They wont even tell me if the cross region is enabled or disabledMost unhelpfull
