Workspace App - Strange Slicer Behaviour
Good morning,
We have a report published from a new workspace into an app and are noticing some strange slicer formatting behaviour on a particular drill-through page. When looking at the relevant page in both PBI Desktop and the workspace itself the slicers show up correctly as drop-downs. However when viewed in the app the slicers look totally different. Any ideas on what might be causing this and a way to fix it?

Anonymous I checked this again this morning and seems to now be working correctly so I'm not sure if it was some sort of transient issue. I don't believe that I had changed anything in the report.
Thank you for help regardless.

HI Anonymous,
It seems like advanced slicer mode has been recognized as normal 'between' mode. Any specific content existed in your app? If you open the source report contents, did these slicers work with relative mode? If you republish them, does this issue fixed?
I'd like to suggest you share more detail information to help us clarify your scenario.

Hi Anonymous, as far as I can tell there not any specific content in the app that isn't in the same report in the workspace or on Power BI Desktop. As you can see from the picture I attached in the source report (when viewed in both BI Desktop and the workspace) the slicer is in relative mode, and the month slicer is a drop down. When published to an app both the slicers seem to change.

Hi Anonymous,
In fact, I already test with some sample data on my side, but I can't reproduce this.
I think this should more relate to power bi service backend analysis or property mapping. You can consider contacting to power bi team if re-publish your app not fix this.
