Im looking at how to work with external customers when creating Power BI reports.
Obviously the first thing is how do you work with the customers data. Im looking at lots of scenarios and one is, when if the user has all their data in their own Azure Tenant (Company B)
And Im have my Azure Tenant (Company A) and Power BI Licences in here. When I Create a Power BI report, Can I access the data from another Tenant?
I always design in Desktop so for example Get Data > Azure > Azure SQL Database > Connect (Would I simply need the customer to provide me with information to the server and database?

Hi @DebbieE,

Per my knowledge, yes, you need to contact the admin to give you correct server/database name and valid credential so that you can have access to their data.
