Workflow using the On-Premise data gateway and ODBC

Hi, 

 

I am trying to configure the on-premise gateway to connect to ODBC.  I have reached to the step where it is asking for connection string.  As far as I know, the ODBC already has the username and pwd embedded, so what's the purpose of this "connection string" and what exactly do I enter in this field?
