Post PatronWorkbook Scheduled Refresh appears to erase changes
I have an Excel workbook published to the Power BI service. The workbook resides on the OneDrive for Business or Sharepoint folder associated to the workspace. The workbook has scheduled refresh set up (daily) on the Power BI service. I'm noticing that when I make changes such as add queries, new pivots, etc. to the workbook file (that resides on OneDrive) the changes may be getting wiped out (I think when the scheduled refresh occurs probably). Am I doing something wrong? Do I need to delete the dataset/workbook from the service and then reimport it every time I change the file?

OneDrive - Business – If you have OneDrive for Business and you sign into it with the same account you sign into Power BI with, this is by-far the most effective way to keep your work in Excel and your dataset, reports, and dashboards in Power BI in-sync. Because both Power BI and OneDrive are in the cloud, Power BI connects to your workbook file on OneDrive about every hour. If any changes are found, your dataset, reports, and dashboards are automatically updated in Power BI. Just like if you saved your workbook to a local drive, you can also use Publish to update your dataset and reports in Power BI immediately; otherwise Power BI will automatically synchronize, usually within an hour.

So (if I understand the article/link correctly) since my workbook is saved in OneDrive for Business (as I mentioned in my original post) I should not be experiencing the loss of changes and/or overwrite behavior. Yet I am unfortunately experiencing that. So what could be going wrong?
