Windows Server where Gateway is installed being renamed.

I have not found a situation quite like mine in my searching of the interwebs, and am hoping that somebody has experienced this and can advise me.

 

Our Power BI Gateway is installed on a Windows VM.

The Data Center is being moved.

The VM is going to be backed up as is.

Then, the VM is going to brought back to life in the new location.

I am told all network and firewall items will stay the same.

All permissions will stay the same.

The catch?  The NAME of the VM is changing.

 

My question is:

Does changing the Windows Server name affect the Gateway Server and/or Data Source connections to it in any way?
