Hi,
We have ~300 free users in our company, we've been using a premium licence/workspace for more than 3 years.
Suddenly some users are experiencing pop-up asking them a trial to have all paid function of PowerBI :
Why is that ? The workspace is indeed premium (not PPU, real premium). Also it's not everyone. I have an AD group for a workspace, most of them still have access while around 5 are experiencing this issue.
Do you have any idea ? Thank you

Hi @SaiTejaTalasila , @Wikkleyn_81 ,thanks for your quick replies, I'll add further.
Hi @JohnnyDax ,
Try reassigning the viewer role of the workspace to the user.
1.Remove the user from the viewer role and save
2.Wait 15 to 30 minutes
3.Reassigning Viewer Roles to Users
4.Users who were previously prompted to require a pro license cleared their browser history and cache before visiting

The oly time i see this happening is when a user attempts to do something that requires a paid license or for the content to be in Premium capacity. Are these users working in a workspace not saved to Premium capacity? Do the excluded users have a different role in the workspace?

Hi,
Sorry, it's very hard to do what you're asking since user are managed through AD group. Thus you can't really remove one user without affecting the whole group.
We managed to change something in the admin tenant, to remove the right for user to start the Fabric trial. Unfortunatly i don't know if this is working since user are not really helpful on their issue.
Hi,
They are only under the viewer role.
Each user are affected to the AD Group "sec-workspace-viewer" and this AD Group is only affected to the viewer role of the workspace. I manually verify one working user and one other with the issue and they're totally alike in the Azure Tenant/PBi Service.
Hi @JohnnyDax Check if the workspace is on a trial Fabric capacity. If it is, move the to the correct Premium Capacity.
I can confirm the workspace is on the correct Premium settings :
Hi,
Please check and make sure they only have viewer access to the workspace.
They do, through an AD group but it's been working until now and it's still working for most of them
