Hello Everyone,
Need your help and suggestion on this issue to fix it.
So when i publish a new report that report has scheduled refresh automatically for every one hour.
when i don't want that to happen.
why does this happen ?
thank you
Hi All,
Firstly lbendlin and MaheshkumarSuma thank you for your solution!
And @newlearnpbi123 for you problem,in the definition of the official document we can see that if you use DirectQuery mode to connect, it may be automatically set to refresh once an hour for you, if you need to change it, you need to go to the semantic model to change the schedule refresh.
Here is our test for DirectQuery vs Import, when using Direct connection, he will automatically configure it to refresh once an hour, while Import mode needs to be configured automatically by yourself.
If you have any other questions, check out the official documentation I found for you, I hope it helps!

Is your data source a file on a SharePoint Document library?
No just a table in databricks mostly directquery or import
That would eliminate the SharePoint/OneDrive automatic refresh.
A schedule is not created automatically. Someone must have gone in and manually enable the schedule and add all the times too.
No sir, i just publish and by default i have refresh scheduled for every one hour

You can prevent this refresh in your Power BI Workspace. In the Workspace, click on the semantic model of the report and you will find Refresh settings in the toolbar. Select Schedule Refresh. Looks like this:
You can undo the toggle that triggers the refresh and save.
Also check the configurations of your data source and ensure it does not have automatic refresh configurations enabled.
