Why does my visual not update automatically after refreshing the dataset?

I uploaded a Power BI report onto a workspace. When I refresh the dataset the visual does not update unless I manually open the report and manually click 'refresh visuals'. Please see below:

Does anyone know why this is and how to avoid this?.

Thanks in advance.

Hi. Reports are not live items that will change on a refresh. Considering that, once a refresh has finished you need to open a report from scratch, like new tab or refresh browser because you might have some cache showing last data instead of current one. That's why you are clicking on refresh if you already had the report opened. That button is for clearing last cache to load again.

If you open the browser from scratch and it's still old data, then you might want to check your browser options because it shouldn't happen.

If you want to show that on a TV consider using dashboards.

I hope that helps,
